Les Carroz d'Araches
Les Carroz d'Araches has pavement cafés and interesting little shops centered around the main square. It has a pleasant 'lived-in' feel and has been popular with French families since the mid-1930s for its superb children's facilities which also includes children’s clubs.
In Les Carroz d'Araches there is a swimming pool complex with 3 pools, paddling pool, water slides, bouncy castle, volleyball, trampoline, restaurant and bar, surrounded by a large expanse of green lawn. The 18-hole golf course boasts fantastic views, open every day in July and August. Other golfing challenges in the area include an 18-hole course at Les Gets, a 9-hole course at Avoriaz, and a practice range at Samoëns with a driving range over water and a putting green.
The gondola in Les Carroz takes you up the mountain to the fabulous scenery, leaving you to descend at your leisure. The Tourist Information Office in Les Carroz keeps a wealth of informative literature and will help keep visitors entertained during their stay.
Les Carroz is one of the most accessible resorts in the Alps with very easy access from the motorway, train station or Geneva airport.
